At Gateway, we like to say, “Gateway Cares because Jesus Cares!” We love to serve our neighbors in a variety of ways.

Love INC

We have a very special partnership with Love INC of Lorain County where we extend redemptive compassion to those in our community in need of personal care and cleaning items. We also support Love INC’s Clothe-A-Kid ministry which provides families with new clothes for children in Lorain County. Several Gateway members regularly volunteer in the Love INC office in Elyria. We also excitedly host a Kids Clothing Pantry several times a year where Love INC clients come and “shop” through gently used kid’s clothing.  

Eager Hands

Join fellow knitters and crocheters on the 3rd Sunday of every month (3-5 pm) at Gateway Church as we create items to donate to those in need. This group is open to all and also accepts donations of yarn and supplies. To date, Eager Hands has made and donated over 5,000 items to our surrounding community.

Summer Cruise-In

Every Monday evening (weather permitting) from the middle of May through early October, we host the Cruise-In Car Show. Stop by to check out some classic and unique cars and grab a hot dog or hamburger. It’s a lot of fun not just for car enthusiasts but for the whole family.
