It’s a big job to raise up children in the way they should go. We recognize this immense responsibility and count it a joy to come alongside parents in their journeys to help raise up the next generation for Christ. While you are experiencing God in the adult service, your child will also be learning about and worshiping God in a safe and fun environment.
Each child is checked into our computer system. The child and the parent are given matching tags so that no one can pick up a child unless they have the corresponding tag. In addition, all of our volunteers and staff have undergone background checks for added security.
We have a nursery available with parental supervision. There is a live feed of the service in the Worship Center to the nursery.
We strive to lead our students in a strong and deepening relationship with Christ through biblical truth, spiritual discipleship, and genuine Christian community. We desire to help young people be like Jesus in all areas of their lives.
We have student groups for Middle Schoolers (grades 6-8) and High Schoolers (grades 9-12). We meet in the Gateway Student Room for fun and discipleship.
The week can be long and stressful. Thankfully Gateway Students meet on Wednesday nights. Join us at 6:30pm in the Gateway Student Room as we grow in Christ while having fun!
Extra events take place throughout the year with two focuses in mind: outreach and inreach. Whether it’s a lock-in, a water balloon fight, a missions trip, or a spiritual retreat, it’s always guaranteed to be fun and uplifting. We can’t wait to see you at our next event!
Hang around Gateway long enough and you will see how important doing life together is for our church family. Growing spiritually doesn’t just happen when we simply know what Jesus says. Growth happens when we apply what He says, and application happens best within the context of community. That’s why we offer multiple Community Groups that meet throughout the week to stay connected to Jesus and to each other.
There are always opportunities to do life together at Gateway. Whether it’s participating in Community Groups, joining a D-Group, hanging out at our weekly summer car shows, volunteering to serve on a Ministry Team, following along in the yearly Bible reading program, or signing on for the next spiritual retreat, you will be sure to find something to jump into to get connected and grow in your faith.
